Mullet Style by MOSER

Step-by-step for the Mullet Style

Mullet tools.jpg
Elaborate, cool and anything but boring – the mullet is back in vogue! During the 1980s, the hairstyle was considered one of the most fashionable of the era. It is a style for self-confident trendsetters who are willing to experiment. Models, influencers and stars such as Miley Cyrus have long been rediscovering the look for themselves and are using it to take their own personal styles to the next level of chic. The mullet is enjoying an upsurge in popularity in this country as well. The haircut can best be described as a type of modern-day take on the mullet. While the hair at the top of the head is shorter or medium length, it is much longer at the neck. If the hair has poor texture, then the mullet will not work, as every strand of the top hair requires enough texture for the look to come into its own. MOSER is presenting this popular style in collaboration with Chris Mattick, Lead Educator the MOSER Artistic Team. He interpreted the style in a fresh, modern way and created new accents with the sides shaved extremely short to lend the cut a progressive overall appearance.

To create the haircut, he used innovative appliances from the MOSER product range: he primarily worked with the CHROM2STYLE BLENDING EDITION, the accompanying BLENDING BLADE, the TEXTURIZING BLADE and the PREMIUM MAGNETIC ATTACHMENT COMBS. The CHROMINI PRO 2 provided clear contours and top-class details. The CERALINE straightener was also used.

5. Continue the guiding line from the fringe to the sides, and cut the hair using the BLENDING BLADE in combination with the clipper-over-finger technique. Clean up the contours in the areas around the ears using the CHROMINI PRO 2.

6. First, texture the damp hair at the top of the head into a box shape and then cut it using the CHROM2STYLE BLENDING in combination with the point cut technique. Blow-dry. Then blend the sides with the fringe.
