Warranty & Shipping

The guarantee period is governed by the statute of limitations on material defects stipulated in the national law of the state in which the appliance was purchased. However, the maximum period is 3 years. During the guarantee period, we shall remedy all defects free of charge which can be proven to be based on material or manufacturing faults (see guarantee card).

In the event of a guarantee/warranty claim, you will receive a free return label by e-mail. Freight forward deliveries cannot be accepted. Guarantee/warranty claims can only be processed where valid proof of purchase is produced. A processing fee may be charged if complaints are unjustified. Please send the appliance safely packaged for transport with a brief description of the defect(s) and a copy of your purchase receipt. WAHL GmbH cannot assume any liability for damages occurring in transit or loss during postal delivery.

You may only avail of our guarantee service for appliances which you have purchased through dealers in Germany or Austria. Please contact our WAHL Service Center online using the contact form, by fax or by telephone and request a free return label.

When sending in an appliance in the event of a guarantee claim, please fill out the contact form with a brief description of the fault and include it in your delivery.

1. Delivery and shipping conditions
Delivery of goods is realised daily by UPS on account/delivery note to the stipulated customer delivery address, provided no other arrangement has been agreed.

We make every effort to send the delivery within 1-2 working days.

In cases where a delivery of ordered goods proves impossible for reasons which are beyond our control, including situations where our suppliers are incapable of meeting their contractual obligations due, for example, to events such as force majeure, operational disturbances, official interventions, strike or lockout, we are entitled to withdraw from the agreement with the purchaser. Legal claims of the purchaser remain unaffected.

Should delivery to the customer prove impossible because the purchaser is not present at the stipulated delivery address, the customer will bear the costs for the unsuccessful delivery.

Should acceptance of the delivery be refused by the purchaser, we are entitled to demand compensation for non-fulfilment corresponding to the loss incurred.

The purchaser must notify us in writing of obvious damage or deficiencies relating to the goods within two weeks of delivery. Dispatch of the complaint within this deadline is sufficient to determine compliance with the deadline. We will refund the order value paid by the purchaser in this case or deliver a replacement.
